Adjudicator versus Ombudsman

I know it's rare for an Ombudsman to take a completely different view to an adjudicator. When this does happen, and once the consumer and bank have been dealt with, is there automatically an internal review of these types of cases to see why the Adjudicator and Ombudsman came to such different opinions and if anything should have been done differently. Or does this only happen if the consumer or bank complain about the way the case was dealt with?

As with every employee, there are Key Performance Indicators. I doubt whether one isolated difference of opinion would cause an internal review though.
As you say, it's rare for an Ombudsman to override an adjudicator.

Yes but a process that is opaque. You are right, this only comes out if you complain about the way the case was dealt with.

If I was in your position, I'd keep my complaint about case handling to isolated concerns as there is no time limit to initially raising them and bring them up one at a time it says in http://www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk/publications/factsheets/complaints-about-our-service.pdf

You will find this out as when they review your issue, FOS managers will miss or ignore the other problems you are keeping quite about and you'll get a definitive answer to your forum post.
