Help?! Do I need to tell company if bank make me an offer??

Please can anyone advise me so I don't get into trouble!
I have been dealing with a company to reclaim PPI. One bank contacted me to say that because they haven't received a letter
Of authority from the company they would deal with us directly. The bank phoned my husband & asked him why he thought it was mis-sold & now we have received a letter from the bank offering us a refund. I am now worried that the company will chase is for some of the offer but can they if we never signed a letter of authority?
Thanks in advance for any advise or help u can provide!

If you've signed their legally binding contract (not LOA) you'll find you are billed by the Claims company.
If you don't pay then they'll set debt collectors on you and your credit rating will be trashed.

Check your contract. It probably says they represent you in ALL ppi complaints. If it does, they will want their cut.

No need to "come clean", just don't be surprised when they bill you regardless!
