Firefox 22.0

Laptop running Windows7.

Firefox upgraded itself yesterday to 22.0.

Some web sites, Hotmail, MSE, Daily Telegraph, Ebay wouldn't display or work properly. Others were ok.

I did a System Restore today for another reason and Firefox 22.0 now appears to be working normally.

Did anyone else have issues with 22.0 or was it just me?

My wife's XP laptop was fine after it upgraded to 22.0.

I had an issue with a Trojan within Java that AVG identified and I'm wondering if that was my problem. See my other thread.

All appears to be well now thankfully

Thanks

Did mine yesterday (notification/accept not automatic) - no problems with MSE and Ebay, don't use the other 2 (my email, Plusnet Webmail was ok).

I must say Firefox 22 on my Mac doesn't feel right either.

Are you sure you are on 22 now, I had same problem and did a restore, but now on 21 again and things back to normal.

I have also stopped automatic FF updates, until things are sorted.

    Found this, might help.

A few of my addons don't work in 22. Using 21 again.

Don't know how closely related the windows & mobile versions are but 22.0 doesn't work on my phone.
Rev 23.0 does (it's available as a beta) so I've reverted to 21.0 and will use that until 23.0 is released normally.
  • Hi,

FF 23 out now, but still seems to have same problem, think I'll go back to 21, again.

Try using Pale Moon. It's based on Firefox but you don't get updates every five minutes and all of your Firefox add-ons should work with it.
