My mate has finished uni and went to make a claim for jsa. All of the relevent forms were filled in and they told her to sign on this coming wednesday. In todays post she has received a letter saying she cant claim until the end of july as she is still classed as being in full time education!! Can they do this?????

Yes they can. She can't get JSA until after the official end of the course.0

what is the "official" end date of the course? Until then she is classed as a student and all her student finance was calculated to take her up to that date0
