EGG Loan/Credit Card PPI

Hi guys

Certainly within the last 10 years I have held an Egg Loan and credit card. I know for a fact I was paying PPI on both and would like the money back as times are hard etc etc and the fact I was told that I needed it to be able to get the finances.

As far as I'm aware, EGG don't operate anymore and I hold absolutely no details whatsoever about the accounts. Some company has obviously taken them over or something.

Whichever company it is that I am able to contact, will they be able to tell me all I need to know from previous addresses etc?

I just need a bit of direction really on where to start as it seems that my younger days of money management have finally caught up with me.

ANY HELP IS MUCH APPRECIATED.

Regards:think:

Send a SAR and £10 to whatever company or companies owned you loan and credit card when you finished paying them or closed the account.

If there is no info left, your complaints are over.
If there is e.g. account numbers, you're away...

I too had EGG card some time ago and after establishing that Barclaycard only took over those EGG accounts that were active around November 2011 (mine was not), they eventually passed my paperwork onto Canada Square Operations, PO Box 4903, Worthing BN99 3AR. Canada Square were formerly known as EGG Banking and they have today sent me a lovely cheque and all done within 2 weeks of receiving my claim. I used the PPI template on MSE and did not have to send any further details but mine was straightforward as was self-employed so it should never have been given in the first place. Best of luck with the claim

I have received a letter from Canada square Egg loan PPI
They are asking me since they cannot find me under my married surname they need a certified copy of my marriage certificate plus my old and new signature ?
Is that secure to send ? is it legal ?
Why they don't call like the others ?
Any suggestions since there is not a number to call on the letter?

    Thank you
    Fran:-)

You will have to send a certified copy which can be done at the post office. They will not accept anything less.
