Anyone know if you can cancel insurance renewal with the coop and then take insurance out with them again online? renewal is around £60 more with less contents than new quote, so obviously would be better with new quote if it's allowed

Ring them and and ask them to match the online quote and they will.
Failing that yes you can just not renew and take out policy as new customer instead - if they do auto-renewal remember to ring and tell them you don't want it to before it renews itselfMortgage remaining: £42,260 of £77,000 (2.59% til 03/18 - 2.09% til 03/23)
Savings target June 18 - £22,281.99 / £25,0000
