Thank you all for your help and kind words.
From the day of offer being accepted to buying our 1st home it has taken 7 weeks exactly. The most frustrating 7 weeks ever. We applied for our mortgage through the halifax, process had been super quick. We still can't believe it.

Dreaming is a pointless exercise if it only serves to reinforce your own limitations.For my familys sake I no longer dream, I will plan and I will try and if I fail I will try and try again.
Failing is far better than dreaming.
