Thank you for all your helpful suggestions.
I checked out seatwave and it looks like a good deal for sellers and seems to get favourable reviews.
Looking at it from a buyers perspective though, to buy my tickets at the face value (£150 for the pair) would cost the buyer £182 :-/
I am selling for £140
What really irks me is that some sellers on ebay are managing to get their tickets sold by listing as a Buy it now before ebay have a chance to delete it or by deliberately listing in the wrong category eg T-Shirt. CD etc.
There is obviously a demand there because every ad that gets put up gets lots of 'x people are viewing this per hour'
There must be a lot of confused buyers out there that don't know the rules have changed and wondering why there are so so few tickets for sale and why their 'watched' items are vanishing without a trace.
Feeling very anti ebay right now
What would have been straightforward has now been complicated.
So I have now listed on
Gumtree (again) - I live in Portsmouth so big city
also on Gumtree Southampton and Hampshire.
Facebook - Buy and sell in pompey bargain page

If I don't get a bite this weekend I will try seatwave but expect I will have to drop the price a fair bit.0 -
I don't rant often but ebay gets worse and worse. I've just gone through the whole process to list a ticket for a gig a friend can't make (I'm still going) - and only when it came to submit the final listing did a message tell me that ebay no longer lists concert tickets! How difficult would it have been to tell me that when I selected the category right at the start?!The Cakes - new release now on Spotify!0

I agree!
I never even got a message telling me! Only found out when they cancelled the listing.
For anyone interested here are the results of my advertising
Gumtree Portsmouth/Hampshire/Southampton listings
14 views in total no offers.
Freeads
47 listing views no offers.
Scarlet Mist
Nothing
seatwave didn't bother with because it wasn't a sold out gig and could get cheaper from the 'official' distributor Ticketmaster
Local facebook buy/sell/swap group SOLD for £120 cash on collection
And had 4 buyers in reserve as well - so if you have an active local facebook group looks like the WTG?
And no commission or fees.
Thanks to 6969annw for the suggestion.0
