Childrens Health Insurance

Has anyone else ever paid extra for a childrens health care that was offered as part of their bank account extras?
We have just cancelled it after 5 years for one child and 4 years for another, after finding it it doesnt cover for anything you believe it would cover ie, a fractured wrist and eye surgery.
I belive we were missold this, is this something we can attempt a claim back for?
you take out cover expecting it to cover basics let alone serious issues to find it covers next to nothing!

You can complain about any insurance, but I doubt you can complain it didn't cover what you "believe it would cover" The terms and conditions of the insurance must surely have been sent to you when you purchased it.I belive we were missold this, is this something we can attempt a claim back for?
To only decide it wasn't suitable after having cover for five years is unlikely to make a convincing complaint.
If you no longer need this insurance then cancel it, but you don't appear to have been mis-sold it, you've just failed to check what it actually covered.0 -

Why didn't you read up about what it covered when you took it up?0
