Didn't your doctor tell you what it was? Didn't you ask them?
He probably did, but it was more than 6 years ago that I had the last one in my fingers treated, so I don't remember the name.
My best, uneducated guess with the help of google is Golfers Elbow (like tennis elbow, but different muscle). The symptoms fit, though the causes don't really..... Oh well, I'll find out next week
