Lump in my arm, likely similar to previous?

Options
I have an achy lump in my arm, below my bicep, close to my elbow. I have in the past had small lumps in my fingers on the tendons, which the doctor treated with a steroid injection, is this likely to be something similar? It's currently the size of a small egg, though isn't visible unless you know it's there.

Does anyone know what the tendon lumps (nodules?) are called so I can look them up?

You need to seek proper medical advice from a doctor.

  • I'm not asking for advice, just if anyone knows what I've already had us called really, then I can look it up myself ;)

  • it may not be what youve previously had.

a lump in the armpit can be anything ranging in different forms of diagnosis.

It's not in my armpit, it's below my bicep, as I said in my OP, tight by my elbow.

    A lipoma maybe?

apologies. but the same applies, it may not be what you have had before.

could be many things some treated with basic antibiotic, some requiring much more invasive treatment to the scary thought of cancer, best way forward i would be to get to your GP monday and have it seen to.

Didn't your doctor tell you what it was? Didn't you ask them?

If its just above crease in elbow it could be a lymph node, mine are always raised and hurt and swell and occasionally give me a dead arm when I'm feeling run down or fighting of an infection (sometimes its my signal to stock up on tissues and paracetamols lol )
If its worrying you go to doctors for piece of mind :)

I understand you wanting to know what it is, but the trouble is with lumps they're not very google-able (is that a word?) because someone needs to see them and feel them in order to determine what it is.

You may be able to find a medical book or website that would show you the anatomy of the arm, if you think that would help?
