clarity for purchases and claxton for cash??

goin to menorca for 11 nights on mon and wondering how best to spend the money.

we've a caxton card we used last year which i was impressed with, txt load and u can se what uve spent. ive not got a clarity card and wonder whoch one to use?

i was thinking of using the clarity for meals and trips etc and the caxton for cash withdrawls. would this work out cheaper with claxtons lower rate but no interst?

we'll prob draw £200 every 3/4 day for cash, so prob £500 altogether.

i pay the cc balance in full by DD

I wouldn't bother with the Caxton, just draw cash on the Clarity, the interest will be minimal if paid in full, and the better exchange rate will compensate you for that anyway.

Clarity for all. But don't wait for the bill to clear the balance. Pay off early and call after to make sure they don't take the payment again on the payment date.

so on the day i land just ring and pay for what i owe upto that day? always thought u had to wait for a bill to be generated so never thought of this
