What do landlords see?

Options
I have two credit card accounts that are AP... and a default registered 2 years ago that was settled very shortly after.

If I apply to rent somewhere new in the UK and the landlord runs a credit search, will these come up?

What exactly do they see?

Never had a credit check on rent before, so curious what may come up if I apply for a new place...

They won't see that, they see public information (bankruptcy / CCJs etc, electoral roll infor) not the detail from your consumer credit accounts.

Just to jump back on this issue...

At RentChecks.com, their tenant referencing service claims:

    "Defaults, arrears & repossessions."

Are 'defaults' public knowledge, if they didn't go to court?

Gearing up to start viewing some property in London, and just don't wanna fall down at the first hurdle..

As said, from e dry thing I read on this and the housing board, only see what Tixy says.

Also confirmed by James Jones the Experian rep on here.

So, its marketing b*ll*x what they claim unless they ask you for a copy of your credit report, erm....no
