planning consent application

Options
We have had survey done and solicitor has written to find out if seller has planning consent for a couple of things on house. If they don't have consent how long would it take to get it approved?.

    Which things are being investigated?

Don't assume the sellers will rectify this properly. Usual approach is simply to offer an indemnity policy, which protects against enforcement but doesn't guarantee compliance e.g. with B Regs on structural safety.

Proper rectification will depend on what the issues are, and whether there was partial compliance with just final sign-off missing / or no compliance at all.

Its the drive and also something with the garage doors. Apparently consent is needed but I don't know what they can do ? . Turf the drive and stick an old door on .
