First time PPI claimer

After way too long I have finally decided to see if I can claim PPI.

I have had hundreds of calls saying I am entiltalled to it but never done anything about it.

The thing I'd like to know is . I have had many credit cards over the years and either done balance transfers or, closed them.

The thing is when I closed the credit cards down I never kept any info on them,ie account numbers etc...

Is there a way I can claim for these cards still or somewhere I can get a list of what cards I have even had?

I know this may sound naive but I just though I would see if there was any hope of claiming back possible PPI I paid on any of them.

Here's hoping....

Many thanks ;)

Apart form being unable to remember what cards you had and whether you had PPI on them (or not) do you remember any valid reasons for your proposed complaint(s)?

You have no such "entitlement", the cold calls you receive are not adverse to telling lies in order to get you to sign up as a Claims Management Company customer.

If you have valid and (preferably) verifiable mis-selling complaint reasons for the apparent PPI on your credit cards over the years then it could be worth sending Subject Access Request (SAR) letters to all your old lenders. These will cost £10, but should provide the account details you need in order to make your complaints.
