Neilson SKI have cancelled Belfast flights

Neilson Ski are no longer flying from Belfast to Lleida during the ski season and have emailed me saying I can change my holiday and fly from the mainland, this is not possible for us due to the added cost of getting to the mainland.
They have offered to refund all monies paid but this has left us devastated as it is too expensive to move to another operator.
Can we ask for some compensation or do we just have to take the knockback?

assuming the holiday is more than 14 days away, no compensation is due. Check their Ts&Cs re major changes but I think refund is all you would be likely to get if there are no aother airlines offering the flights (if there are other carriers you could try and push them to switch your flights but you may then be left without transfers etc)
