ipostparcels problem

Last friday i had ipostparcels pick up 3 large parcels to be delivered, as i dont have a printer i paid extra for the delivery driver to bring labels with him, the total cost came to over £40! one parcel was to one lady and the other 2 to another.
the parcels were picked up and were to be delivered on the monday but they never arrived, again the tuesday there was still no sign so i messaged to ask where they were giving description of the boxes along with photographs. i was told there had been a mix up but not to worry they would be sent out, one of the ladies contacted me on wed to say she had a parcel arrive that didnt have her name or address on it but the courier insisted it was for her! and the other two have disappeared into thin air! the courier also keeps turning up at my door to collect two parcels that he has already taken and obviously not logged correctly
The companies phone number is outsourced and can only deal with rearranging delivery and telling you where the items are (hahaha!) not deal with any problems or issues. The emails are not answered and a claim form can only be sent out by requesting through email  I have put in a claim through paypal but it was refused so where do i go from here as im just going round and round in circles
any help will be great! thnaks

AFAIK ipostparcels.com are part of UKmail.0
-
If they're on Twitter or Facebook try sending them a message there..0

They are definitely on Twitter as they just appeared on my feed as a promoted tweet. Get tweeting, my guess would be they will sort it quickly if you do..0

Sad to hear you are having problems with this company. I to have had experience of their incompetence and can truly say they are not fit for purpose and will never use them again for international parcels. I ended up contacting the CEO Guy Buswell guybuswell@ukmail.com and was fobbed of again to another Customer Support manager who clearly believed my problems were purely a glitch in the Ipostparcels procedures. When fact they highlighted that there online system has a problem producing the documentation - labels etc to print out. There pickup drivers did bring the labels even though i was assured they would and finally i was expected to complete a customs form which i had already completed on line - which they sent to me by email and sign it! Without been given an address to send it to and with the threat that my parcel would be returned and i would pay a penalty! If the form was not sent - they only gave me a day to do this which is impossible!
Unfortunately i would avoid this company - its such a pity that a UK based parcel is so obviously not fit for purpose and there is a reason they will never ever be able to be world players like UPS or Fedex OH HUM.

Does anyone know how to send in a formal complaint against this company? i have taken to twitter that isnt doing much good (although they do actually acknowledge my emails).
Using the complaints tab on the website gets ignored. Does anyone have an email address for the CEO? is this John Donahoe?
I sent a parcel to China and apparently China are holding the item as it was refused by the 'consignee'. No one seems to be able to help me get this back. The tracking service is useless as this just says 'delayed'. I dont actually believe that this is what has happened. I've seen no proof. I paid £23 for this!0 -
When something goes wrong at Ipostparcels sorting it out is not quick or easy.
As you say their tracking is useless on overseas parcels and they will ignore you on social media. There is no phone number to speak with them.
They will eventually reply to an email but expect a turnaround time of a week or more and when you receive a reply you cannot email them back you have to make a new message on the website to reply - it is so frustrating. Getting money back from them can be an exercise in futility.
I sent a small parcel to Belgium using ipostparcels. Their partner delivery agent there is postNL (who are a mail company more than a courier.)
Recipient not in so postNL left a multi choice card through his door with the box ticked saying they would redeliver without the recipient doing anything.
PostNl never did try to deliver again instead without contacting anyone they returned it to ipostparcels in Birmingham.
ipostparcels wanted me to pay them another £36 to deliver the package from them Birmingham UK back to me the UK shipper (it cost £10 to send it originally from me to Belgium). If i did not pay £36 they threatened to destroy.
I had a scan of the card left by postNL so I was am sure of my facts.
ipostparcels or UKmail are not easy to contact and take on average 3 to 5 days to respond to a message left on their system. You cannot send email direct as their is no email address and their contact system only accepts alpha numeric characters not symbols so it is not possible to send a link to them so they can see the scan of the card left to prove the point.
An added complication is the postNL systems do not recognise the tracking numbers used by ipostparcels so when the recipient did eventually contact postNL to try to see what was happening postNl were unable to help him.
The whole system is a shambles. The ukmail ipostparcels tracking is not integrated properly for international parcels and the ipostparcel customer care system is awful. This should have been sorted easily and quickly instead we have an upset sender and an upset receiver neither of whom have done nothing wrong.
After 5 weeks of arguing I eventually got my parcel returned to me but they refused to refund the original £10 payment.0 -
I cannot begin to explain my utter frustration of using ipostparcels. What a terrible company. I paid for a collection on 2-2-15 and paid nearly £50.00 but as of today 12-2-15 still waiting for collection.
I used their only method to contact them, a contact form on their website, did this 30 or so times and got the usual auto-responder email telling me someone would be in touch. Then I set up a macro and sent another 500 messages to them over a week but guess what? NOTHING!. I searched google and found a few numbers, pointless! If you get through and not cut off they just give a different number saying 'it's a sister company' or the like.
Use if you love being angry ;-)0 -
These people didn't collect after four days of waiting for a next day service. They sent me messages saying that the parcel would be collected between 1 and 2 in the morning!!! They told me the package was due for delivery at the same time it was scheduled for collection!! They told me that the driver had tried to collect but had been told BY ME (...er, I don't think so...) that it wasn't ready for collection!!! Lies, lies lies.
When you look into their terms and conditions, they say that they don't have to collect at the times they state - or even or the day they state - or even pay any compensation if they don't fulfil their contract with you! Nice work if you can get it.
When things go wrong, you need help - but there's no number to call. You can leave a message through the website but that's an incredibly frustrating experience too - not least because you need to have an answer now - not in three weeks!
You have been warned!0 -
