Vodaphone in-house mobile signal booster/box thingy?

Hi, a computer client says her new Voda mobile doesn't work with the "in-house voda mobile signal booster" -or whathever its called (it connects to the pc).
I guess the mobile has to be synced with the voda box? Anybody know about this? thanks.
EDIT: its a Sure Signal (orignal model) I think the client needs to login to their Vodafone account and can then add/remove phones from there. We'll find out in an hour or two.

I've got one of those boxes. They're great - and yes, you need to register a phone with them before they'll work with it0

Phone was already registered. Just had an upgrade (no sim change). Problem is, as the owner of the box you cannot deregister and reregister your own number without first transferring ownership of the box to another person.ringo_24601 wrote: »I've got one of those boxes.
