Travel Insurance - France and Wales

Hi all,

I've never ever had Travel Insurance for domestic holidays but my OH and I go up to Snowdonia twice a year or so for long weekends to get away.

This year we are also travelling around France for 2.5 weeks which normally I would buy insurance for.

However, as we are intending to walk up Snowdon, do some cycling etc I was thinking of getting an annual policy so that it covers us for any cancellations (we pay the cottage in advance) or injurys when we're in Wales.

What do you think?

PS - is it still the case that you can't get a 'couple's' insurance if you don't live at the same address???
