Found more evidence tell them now or wait

Hi
I put forms into First Direct only at beginning of week but in meantime Ive learnt that no ppi was ever claimed on policy. I never knew I had ppi until recently after reading on here I got the info and yes i did have it on 2 loans and credit cards. However I was off work for over a year due to sickness/injury and couldnt work so my company paid me under there insurance.
My question being now that I no I had ppi and never claimed should I write and tell fd my new findings or wait to they acknowledge my claims.

Thanks

This is not important "new" evidence. The Bank will already know you never claimed on the insurance.

If your company paid you under their insurance, you were paid, therefore not unemployed. If you know that your injury was something the PPI would have paid for, tell them.

I think if you've already made your complaint on this basis then you have to wait for the Bank to investigate and respond, no point stressing over this in the meantime, it's going to be two months before you'll know anything more.
  • Fd - if they offer redress will know if you have/have not made a claim and deduct it from final offer

I had completely forgotten about a claim I had made in 1997 but it was deducted which is fair

Fd are on the ball - they will work it out and if they make an offer it will be fair
