So I wonder ahaving been pretty much I feel missold this account and never using any of the products and gettting into more financial difficulty over it being in place can I claim back for all charges, fees and missold factor of this ??
Why did you buy it if you were not going to use it?
Just because you end up not using facilities, does not make it mis-sold. A bit like a monthly gym membership if you never go there or full sky tv package even if you dont view movies.
Mis-sale relates to how it was sold to you. it is possible the account was mis-sold and if so, the product fee could be refunded if they agree with you. However, overdraft charges are unlikely to be refunded as that is a different matter.
If it was mis-sold, how was it mis-sold to you?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. Hi all I have had a bank account with a well known bank for years and years ago when i transfered it from a normal everyday account and opened this super douper account with extra products (mobile insurance, car insurance, breakdown and travel insurance) for a monthly cost £10.wWe got into some diffculty some time ago, swapped accounts forgot about that 1 and then started to take charges out for the fee and being into the overdraft of about £40 a months I borrowed from parent to put the overdraft right...and started to put a little money into it and then i called the bank one day about crying asking them to stop this account and revert me back please...they had said at the start we could not go back the way once transferred to new account that was it!!
So I wonder ahaving been pretty much I feel missold this account and never using any of the products and gettting into more financial difficulty over it being in place can I claim back for all charges, fees and missold factor of this ?? i wonder if anyone has had this happen to them.
thank you.
