Ways to pay a credit card bill (online)

Hi, I am really surprised I can't find the answer to this online!

Basically, my GF has never wanted a credit card but now has been pre-approved for one by our joint account bank. She now wants to have it, just to make and pay off a few small things every month, to build a credit rating. The thing is that her own/personal bank account she's had for years is so basic that she only has a cash-card for it (can't use it in shops/online - she has a pre-paid card for that *rolleyes*). What I want to know is, can she use her pre-paid MasterCard to pay a credit card bill online? It's obviously not like paying one CC with another, but I've only ever paid my CC with my Debit card and know of no other ways...

Additional info - yes, our joint account is a normal current account and we both have debit cards and cheque books for that, however we agreed to only use it for our mortgage payments and ideally she doesn't want to also start using it to pay off her personal credit card bill. Sorry, bit of a silly/complicated situation, but is there a way out without either her using our joint current account, or upgrading her personal current account from a cash-card to a full debit card?

Cheers! :)

She can pay by a bank transfer. The details will be in her statement.

Aha, thank you. I have just checked in my own credit card online banking and under 'other ways to pay' it lists 'Fast Payment' and says you'll need:

    (1) Your credit card number (I assume as a reference?)
    (2) Our bank account number: XXXXXXXX
    (3) Our sort code: XX-XX-XX

So her hypothetical credit card should also accept this way of payment, and for her it would almost be like making a bank transfer to another person? She could then do it from her cash-card current account because it does allow bank transfers...

Yes. It will be like that. If the cash-card account allows direct debits, she could also do that to pay if off in full and then you don't have to worry about it. (You do need the money in your account, but that goes for paying manually as well!)
