Difficult to know where to put this as it branches in to many areas!

Received an email about this LifeSmart rewards and thought I would start a thread, see if anyone else had an opinion.
http://noddle.lifesmartrewards.com/

It touts itself as a way to save over £400, including a big headline of a free return flight to Europe, and while I think there is some reasonable value in there it is a little too good to be true.

Here's the deal (from the email link)
Here’s what you get for only £49.95:

1. Return Flight to Europe: You get a European return flight and we even cover the taxes for you. Choose from one of these great European cities; Alicante, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Brussels, Copenhagen, Dublin, Malaga, Palma, Paris, Prague and Rome.

2. £100 Holiday Voucher: Wherever you’d like to go on your next holiday, you can save £100 off the total cost of your booking with Lifesmart Rewards from Noddle.

3. Hi-Life Diners Club Membership: You’ll get a membership to a Hi-Life Diners club which gives you great offers, such as 2 for 1 dining at over 4,000 restaurants in the UK and ROI.

4. Cinema tickets: Enjoy a night out at Odeon or Vue cinemas with a pair of cinema tickets. Choose from over 180 cinemas in the UK to find whatever film you’re after.

5. £20 Groceries Cashback: Wherever you do your grocery shopping, your Lifesmart Rewards from Noddle membership gives you £20 cashback.

6. Days Out: From paint balling to go-karting, medieval jousting to roller-coasters; Lifesmart Rewards will give you access to a great range of offers for days out up and down the country.

And here's wot i fink..

I'll start with £20 Grocery Cashback - good. Everyone can get this so it reduces the price to effectively £30 for the rest of the benefits

Return flight to europe. Sounds exciting, a return flight for only £30. Then you read the T&Cs
Basically, it's quite difficult to work out, but it sounds like you choose three destinations from the list and three months, they then give you a choice of three options based on what you select. If you don't like any of them you don't get the free flight. Additional passengers are a minimum of £120 and you have to pay for flight extras (presumably luggage). So when you're on your 7am Ryanair flight in the middle of November you'll be thinking "I'm glad I didn't pay for this". Oh wait...

£100 holiday voucher. Restricted to a travel agency no-one's ever heard of (Concepts for Travel Ltd) with no visible deals before signing up.... bit of a gamble then.

Hi-Life diners club - Sounds ok, not terrible for £30 but locally doesn't have the range that tastecard does, and I have an offer in my inbox for a tastecard for £30 right now...

Cinema Tickets - Reasonable if you live near an Odeon or Vue. Not valid for 3D screenings though.

Days out - At a guess these are probably offers that are available everywhere else as well, but again no external visibility, so who knows?

Overall, I can't see myself using free flights, probably wouldn't use the diners club, don't live near an odeon or vue, wouldn't use the £100 discount, days out are a mystery, so for £50 I would probably just get £20 back :s

Edit: I've just discovered that the organiser (i-Deal promotions limited) is a branch of CPP, everyone's favourite card insurance mis-seller. Think I would give this one a barge-pole length miss then.

Thanks for deconstructing this so thoroughly Zogger.

I'm particularly glad you highlighted the restrictions on the flight, rendering them useless. How can they claim its worth £150 if you have to do as you say and get to Stansted for 7am on a Tuesday morning? I also have Taste which, despite its many flaws, has the best coverage of the cards. I agree that the £100 off a holiday is also worthless. I live near to an Odeon and a Vue so I would only use this and the grocery discount. The days out thing seems like what already exists for free.

    I'm also going to pass.

    Cheers
