Curved chimney breast

I have two chimneys breasts that are sealed up. The house is 1950s and has curved edges on the chimney breast. I can't find any pics or info online but I was wondering how hard it is or expensive to have them made square? I want to paper the whole wall but I'm not sure on the curves.
Or does this spoil original features!?

I think we need pictures. Which edges are curved? How curved are they?0

Unless the edge curve is very irregular then it shouldn't be any more difficult to paper than a right angle edge.monty-doggy wrote: »I have two chimneys breasts that are sealed up. Wallpaper can cope with a degree of irregularity.0 -
i'm just about to do something similar for one of my customers , their chimney breast is an inverted Y shape tho , i told her that as it is a patterned paper it would look like the dogs dinner as there's no way to match the paper up at the bottom of the Y, so i'm going to paper the front and i've colour matched the background of the paper to paint on the sides0
