Changing sterling travellers cheques to sterling?

How much does it cost to change UK sterling GBP travellers cheques into UK sterling GBP in the UK?
Is it possible to do this for free? If so where? Note: as the travellers cheques would have been purchased outside the UK I cannot use the same bank I bought them with.

If you have a UK bank account you can pay them in like ordinary cheques. I have done this in the past with unused travellers cheques with no extra fees.
