Looking For An Architect

Hi

I live in East London and looking for a good architect to help with my kitchen.

I currently have a balcony from the kitchen which I want to incorparate into

my kitchen. My neighbour on the ground floor has done something similar so

am hoping will get planning permission.

If I remember rightly RIBA used to run an offer where they raised money for

charity. Anyone remembers this?

what sort of prices would they charge for consultation for my small kitchen in a 2 bed flat

I have used the RIBA/Shelter offer & it was good. The architect was at my house for nearly two hours in the end (only supposed to be one). Her price was 10% of cost of work (plus VAT) from full drawings, through planning then getting quotes & overseeing work to completion. Some will just do plans. You can find architects through the RIBA website, just ring a few & see what they say.
