Fridge leaking water

Our new CDA tall fridge is leaking water at the bottom which comes out when the door is opened. I've tried turning it up so now the contents are a lot colder, tiny bits of ice on the back wall but it still leaks.
It's hard to see if it shuts properly because its one of those integral things covered by a kitchen unit. I swear it closes properly though because the door is quite hard to pull open as if it's sealed nice and tight.
What generally makes a fridge leak water? It's 12 months old.

Fridges normally have some form of drain, collecting the water that condenses on the element and carrying it off to a container near the compressor where it evaporates off from the heat of the compressor.
I've seen it where the drain blocks, either with food/crumbs or gel/sludge from leaking drinks and the water then collects inside the fridge or freezer.
With the fridge switched off check the container, pour a small drop of dyed/coloured water through the system see if its flowing through correctly.0 -
Agree with the above - my last one required an occasional prod with a piece of wire down the drain tube to clear it0

Had the same problem and agree with locating the little drain tube and clearing it.x x x0
