Renovating My 2 Bed Flat

*queen*
I have been living in my 2 bed flat for the past 3 years and I have not done any work to it. I am only the 2nd owner. The previous one an elderly lady lived here since the flat was built. The flat is habitable but i now want to put some new touches to it
This is what I think i need to do
new kitchen
have crittle windows so -double glazing
old immersion water heater/storage heating- new central heating system
new carpeting, fitted wardrobes, new flooring in kitchen and bathroom
painting and general decorating
Can anyone give me an idea on where to start. Thanks

This is the order I'd do it in, I'm no expert by the way
Fist off measure your kitchen and get an accurate design for it so you know where you'll need sockets/pipes etc.
1. Start with the heating and electrics (if needed) as these are messy jobs. Also while the plumber/spark are there get the pipes/sockets/lights sorted in the kitchen.
2. Get the windows done
3. Get kitchen fitted by a good joiner if you can find one and while he's there you can get the wardrobes done.
4. Once your happy then paint and decorate to your hearts content.
5. Getr your carpets fitted and enjoy your flat.
The kitchen and bathroom flooring depends on what type your getting, if it's lino then get the carpet fitter to fit it.
As I said I'm no expert but it does give you and idea of the order. Also remember it can take 4-8 weeks to get your kitchen delivered and the time for windows can be around the same.0
