Burgergate

Right, so an MP (boo, hiss etc), living and working in London where a pint of beer can be well over £4, is seen eating a burger for a tenner, and the media/f eckless, sky TV watching, benefit scrounging jeremy kyle types are in uproar!
What the f*ck is happening to the world? A bloke can't even eat a burger - with his own effin cash - without being moaned at or vilified.

Was it his cash or will it be an 'expense' that he claims back and therefore our cash?
To be honest, I spend a lot of time in London and £10 for a decent burger isn't expensive so I don't understand why people are having a go about it...and that's coming from someone who definitely isn't an Osborne fan!
I sort of wonder if he isn't happy about the burger thing becoming an issue because it's distracting people from what a mess he's made of everything else. Better to have people moaning about something that's largely irrelevant than actually paying attention to the real issues/failings.Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0 -
looks like the Sun is pushing the whole Tory Toff message - the fact that is rubbish gets to the front page of the Sun really shows the dumbing down Especially everything that is coming out about GCHQ and NSA0

Don't forget Sky and The Sun are Murdoch papers, and he's had his nose put out of joint by being pulled up on phone hacking. And of course he's not a bitter, twisted old man and anyone who says he is should be deeply ashamed.0

According to the papers today, it was a meal from a posh restaurant and not the kind of bile you get dished out in fast food chains.0

to be honest its not so much about the mp eating a £10 burger - its about an mp looking as if he's eating a £10 burger to try and fool us that he's one of us.2014 Target;

If he was one of us from Mse he wouldn't be sending out and paying a tenner. He would have gone downstairs and got something to eat out of the freezer.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

All the fuss about GCHQ and the NSA isn't news either. It's nothing that we haven't known for decades.
The Sun don't do news, they just do useless trash.0
