Over credit limit... Credit score?

Hi all,

I've been doing my house up and as such putting some stuff on my 'house credit card' from RBS.

Although I had been checking the app, I managed somehow to go £49 over the limit. It had been like that for 2-3 days before I checked again, and I immediately paid 3/4 of the balance (I pay it off every month).

I called them and they have removed any pending charge, but will this seriously affect my credit rating? I've been trying to build it up, but according to Noddle I am still only a 2 out of 5!!

Bought is to buy. Brought is to bring.

You don't have a credit rating.

It will not be logged on your credit file.

Score/rating/history etc etc - I just meant would it look bad on my record/file to other lenders?

    :D

As long the card is below the limit on the statement date, this would not report to the Credit reference agencies.

Yep, and they've repaid 3/4 of the balance.

But credit scores and ratings don't really exist so these terms shouldn't be used interchangeably with history (which does exist).
