Aqua Card - Reregistering for online access required!

I just went to log in to my Aqua card online, to be presented with a message telling me that I had to re register for access to my account online! Ever the sceptic and thinking about bogus websites and people trying to steal your details, I immediatly came running here to see if I could find anything about it.
I did but it was in a different thread, so I thought it was worthy of its own thread that was easier to find.
You have to re register, set up new passcodes etc but it does only take a minute. you also need to input some details from your card, so have it to hand.
The site has been completely redesigned, you can now see when your next statement date is, which wasn't available before. They have removed the ability to ask for a credit increase though, unless I've missed it???
Other than that there doesn't seem to be much difference really, just a bit of a more modern looking layout. I do think they could have told people they were doing it though and you had to reregister especially with all the fraud about these days.

Yes they sent me one on Monday too.
But I had seen the message on their site earlier saying everyone needed to re-register from this week ... as I posted in that other thread the OP referred to

Absolutely do not make a payment yet. I made 2 payments on the new system this morning. Both said they didn't go through. I called Aqua me they said there were no payment issues and I should contact my bank, then they tried to take the payment again and it was declined. I called my bank who said that 2 payments went through - which meant I over drafted my account.
I called Aqua back who said they've had payment problems all week. I asked what they were going to do about my overdraft fees since I called and they assured me there were no problems. They said the overdraft fees were not their problem. I asked were they going to fix the website or take the payment system down until this was sorted. They said they were 'looking into it', but its still up and accepting payments.0 -
Shame that the online credit limit increase request facility has gone but not the end of the world.
Website is still a bit substandard though.0 -

Why not just pay from your banks own website? Its far simpler, less hassle, and you know there and then if the payment was accepted or not.0 -

Does anyone know the bank details?
I have tried setting up a payment using the '30-00-00 00282448' but Lloyds will not accept it.
I have used Lloyds' bill payment search function, and the only number they give for Aqua Mastercard is '80-20-45 00213765'
Don't know what to do, I don't want my money 'lost'!0 -
If I give you my bank account details, will you assume they are correct and pay me instead of Aqua? Ie, thats a bad idea.rabbit_burrow wrote: »Does anyone know the bank details?
However, you can find the details on every statement.
That's not what is on my statement. Where did you get that?rabbit_burrow wrote: »I have tried setting up a payment using the '30-00-00 00282448' but Lloyds will not accept it.rabbit_burrow wrote: »I have used Lloyds' bill payment search function, and the only number they give for Aqua Mastercard is '80-20-45 00213765'

Send 25p to it then, if it arrives on your statement within 3 days or so, the information was obviously correct and can submit further payments to the same payee. Thats what I did.
FWIW, my statement does indeed start the payee details with 80-20-45. Don't forget your card number as the reference!0 -
After some of the !!!! ups I've read about payments since Aqua launched this new site, I am going to send a small amount via faster payments before my next statement is even generated, just to make sure it all goes through ok.
Don't see why it wouldn't after 2 years of paying it that way but it might be worth it just for piece of mind.0
