When you finally clear the negative items from your report, your credit score will most likely increase. I am not sure whether it would increase significantly or by just a few points. Regardless, the good news is lenders look past the score and check your credit history as well. So, if the negative history on your report is cleared away, your chances of obtaining new lines of credit, or taking out loans, will also increase. Just look at your credit report on a regular basis to be sure that the items you are slowly paying off are being removed. Good luck!0

None of the credit reference agencies will hold the following data and I know that the following is scored in some, and may be all, applications for credit. What I don't know is the weightings.
Occupation: Job Title
How long have you been with your employer / previous employer
Marital Status (Though sometimes this can be inferred through associations)
Current Salary
Expenditure and thus income to outgoings ratio
Old accounts with the lender >6 years old. (Both Closed and Open)
Residential Status Home Owner Tenant etc
Full / Part Time / Retired etc
Your phone number (+ Points if you give landline)
+Points if you fill in a DD mandate0
