For what seems like years, I've been receiving Martins newsletter. A few weeks ago, I changed my system from '98 to XP. Since then the newsletters have ceased. I've tried unsubscribing and subscribing to no avail. Actually what happens is that the system says an email has been sent to me for verification but that dosen't arrive. Do you think that it's possible they are beeing blocked ? and if so, by whom?. The only thing I can think of is that the IT guy who did the changeover for me, said he would install macaphee or something like that, so if he did, maybe that's the cause. I intend to see him during the next few days and put this to him, meanwhile maybe you could think of something.

Check your "junkmail" folder. I use Outlook and you have to change the junkmail rules when you first use it.
You should be able to view the junkmail folder in the mail folders in the left hand pane (if using outlook express or outlook)0 -
Haven't been able to use outlook express for years, a box says something about pop3 etc. My emails are via yahoo. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

So it is nothing to do with changing from 98 to XP then. Yahoo is easy to set-up for an e-mail client by following the instructions on their website.
Have you checked your SpamGuard settings and looked in your Bulk folder? Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
