I haven't signed a contract for rent before, and I would like to ask what usually the contract mentiones regarding minimum rent period

I mean, what happens if I want to move out before the minimum rent period

    the minimum period is usually 6 months but could be longer.

    You can probably move out when you want, but unless the landlord agrees to this in writing, you will have to continue to pay the full rent + council tax for the remaining tenancy period.

    let's say I won't pay for the rest rent

    When you sign a legally binding tenancy agreement, you are bound to pay for the term specified, unless the landlord agrees to release you early.

    Normal initial term will be 6 months.

    Your landlord can sue you through the courts to reclaim any lost rent, and this will also affect your credit history and may affect your ability to rent in future.

    The deposit can be used towards missing rent, but is intended to cover damage and repairs to the property. Landlord can sue you for any additional costs of damage, rent arrears etc on top of the deposit.
