My son left a 3kw electric heater on from saturday around 3pm until wednesday 5pm with closed doors. The room was like an oven when we got back.

Does anyone know how to work out how much the bill is gonna cost me ?

Assuming the heater has a thermostat I dont think it will be more than a tenner. Its not possible to say exactly how much electricity it would have used because it depends on how well insulated the room is and what the thermostat was set at on the heater.

In the absoulute worst case, if the heater ran continuously (with no thermostat) you would have used about 290 kwh which is about £25 (very approximatly).
