Halifax 25 month balance transfer offer - Too good to be true?

Hello
I've not really done any balance transfer before, but the one I did do with Barclaycard had a 60 day window to do your balance transfers after you opened the card in order to get the offer.
I have just been accepted for a Halifax card with a 25 mnth 0% offer and I phoned to check how long I had to make a transfer to get the offer.
Now, they said I can transfer money to them ANY time during the 25 months, and get interest free for the remainder of the 25 months. So if I transferred after 6 months, it would be interest free for 9.
Does this sound right?? Sounds too good to be true but 2 different agents on separate calls told me this. I don't have it in writing though.

It's usually within 90 days.
You may have been better with a spending card, as I've been able to build significant 'debt' in the past (well over £100k), and maxed a BT card to 90%, thus making maximum use of the BT card, and maximum profit.

I put in a complaint on the form on their website, got a text 25 mins later asking me to call in (this was at 4.30am!) they apologised, will provide feedback to the people I spoke to and credit my account with £15
And it is indeed the standard 90 days I have!Kavanne
