Praise for...

...the stewarding and policing at Hampden Park on Wednesday night. Lots of people and very very long queues for the trains were so well handled.

Oh, Robbie and Ollie were pretty good too. :rotfl:

That'll be a first then! Last year one of the locals pretty much sorted that out for me though at the Olympic football by giving me directions to I think it was Cathcart station - no queues & as it's the stop before Mount Florida, seats on the train too!

This was not a public service - it was to take all those who attended a concert back to the city centre -first station was Mount Florida and no stopping until Glasgow Central.

Police made sure that queue jumpers were sent back to the end, the HUGE queue moved really well and the stewarding at MF station was brilliant. Each carriage filled in turn, next carriage doors not opened until the one in front was full (no standing!) and so on. Train out, next train in. Never encountered anything so well organised ever.

    And it wasn't raining.
