NHBC Claim

Myself and four neighbours have had to use NHBC and all found them very good. We phoned then, someone came out, viewed our problem, went back to office, a phone call and letter later we are all in the process of getting our houses fixed. No problems at all.0

We were also pleasantly surprised when we made a claim last year.
There was only about a month of the 10 year guarantee left when we noticed a water stain on the ceiling of the top floor bedroom. When we looked in the loft, you could see water marks on the felt on the inside of the roof.
The NHBC came round with the builder (Redrow) and the NHBC produced a report saying that the tiles on one side of the roof needed to be replaced. They replaced them within a few weeks.
We had heard lots of horror stories about the NHBC trying to wriggle out of paying out for anything that we expected to fight for them to put it right.0
