Hi There,
Can anyone advise please,
We (family) are off to OZ for 2 months at end of June ,we are taking 2 internal flights and a small 3 day cruise while we are there.
Whats the best travel insurance? We have been on moneysupermarket but the only insurance is for outbound and inbound flights only.
Am i understanding this right?
Do we need annual multitrip because single trip does will not cover us!!
Im very confused and time is getting on not sure what to do??
Many thanks for any advice received
Kind Regards
Laudami

A single-trip policy will cover you from the date of your outbound flight to the date of your inbound flight and all the time in between. This space has been intentionally left blank0

The main things to check for are
a) will your length of stay be covered - some allow as little as 42 days on a single trip, if your insurance isn't valid when you need it you won't get anything - and even whilst it's valid your insurance company might get a bit uppity
b) what possessions are covered - expensive items may be covered on your existing household insurance
c) what's the medical cover. Will you be covered for a long stay in hospital, will your family be able to claim expenses, will you be covered if you need to be returned to the UK (medical repatriation) and (God Forbid) what happens if you die. Will you have to be buried in Oz or will they end your remains home.
If this is your only trip this year then you don't need multi trip
Otherwise I think you should do a search on this and the insurance forum0
