Where do i go from vanquis!

Hey there!!
Im thirty and for the past three years or so have been rebuilding my credit after a shocking amount of stupidity in my early. 20's. slap wrists .. After learning some very tough lessons im back on form and have now climbed from a 250 limit to a 3k limit on vanquis. Ive also been actively using a capital one account and two store cards, keeping all my accounts in good working order and all now have really high limits and a flawless payment record.
My problem is a still have a ccj on my record that isnt due to drop off for another two and a half years.. Im desperate to get rid of vanquis in favour of a more rewarding card, but who do i apply to and whats the chance of me being accepted???
I think ive been good enough now for a long time, but think this is going to hold me back..
Any advice would be greatly appriciated!

If you have other cards, get rid of the vanquis already, to free up some credit for other cards. I have just done this after much deliberation as I am making way for hopefully my last card application for a while, something that rewards me for spending (cashback or rewards).
With a £3000 limit on the card it sounds like it's just getting in the way. They close the account after two statements have been paid in full, so get the ball rolling now.Oh, you wee bazza!0 -
If you're a good customer, I would imagine a chat with Capital One may enable you to switch to their cashback card. Call and find out!
I also think you'd be better off getting rid of store cards unless you get particular perks from them you're keen to retain.Friendly greeting!0
