Trying to find an old thread

Options
Not so long ago there was a useful thread about renovating/refurbishing a house - it included the order in which things should be done. I've searched but can't find it. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Can't help with the thread, but you'll find (free) books at your local library that cover this in detail, and probobly more systematically than the haphazard contributions of posters in a thread here.

A decent book would be brilliant. My local library is excellent for many things but not for this!

Is it a 'main' library, or a branch? If branch, they will order in a book for your from the main one, or another branch.

Or as a last resort, get one from an online book-seller....
