They are stated as having a non gm commitment in this Greenpeace document.

Happiness is a perfume you cannot pour on others without getting a few drops on yourself.

Lidl -not the most ethical company either.0

The Greenpeace doc states:-
Schwarz Group (Lidl), Germany
Lidl, one of the major discounters in Europe and a subsidiary of the
Germany-based Schwarz Group, has since many years applied a non-GM
production standard. The company has given non-GM commitments in
Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands, Austria and Poland.
So that implies that the UK market will stomach it so long as its cheap
It's a few years old, maybe its updated?
A valid discussion though, not just Lidl but other grocers too.0 -
Lidl pay good wages, and have good prices, and if you discount the salt, sugar, fat, pesticides, air miles and unfairtrade items no different than other supermarkets.
The staff have to do ANY job including relief work outta town, so need to drive and perhaps have their own vehicle.0
