2 Glass shelves required for discontinued Fridge Freezer

We have a Baumatic FF model BR27B, the model has been discontinued, any recommendations where we can buy fairly cheap 2 glass shelves for the fridge, local spares shop has quoted £60.00 :eek:

I paid around £45 for three by going to a glass merchant with my measurements. Toughened glass, ground edges.

Just get a bit of perspex and cut it to size?

Go to a glazier with he measurements and make sure it is safety glass. They will cut it to size for you.

Some years ago I had a conversation on here with someone who did not know that glaziers supplied glass.

Try your local freegle or freecycle groups.
Give dimensions in the post - someone may have had their fridge fail and its sat out back ready for taking away.

Try your local recycling centres - if they have a pile of fridges then they may let you recycle a couple of shelves (a small gift may be appropriate

)
