RBS Payout times fast!

Hello all, if you've read my previous post you'll know I've had several offers from RBS which I accepted. I posted back all 7 acceptance letters on Monday and I've just had the first one paid direct into my current account! It's only took 2 days to get to them and for it to be paid into my account! Thats fast work!

The thing is though I called the PPI line today and when I asked if they'd received them yet the lady told me they hadn't got them back yet and it could take up to 7 working days. I hadn't checked my account before I called. Then within 20 mins I'd got a text from the back saying they had received letter with the reference number to that loan. Strange I thought.

I'm just hoping the other 6 get paid out just as quick. I'll be calling them again tomorrow to ask again.

Just thought I'd share my dealings with them. Hope everyone is just as successful as I was

Yeah. Natwest/RBS always say that 7 working days and so forth. But that's just to cover themselves. But in my experience and that of a couple of other people I know, it's normally in your account virtually the same day.

With it being that quick, it would suggest it is an auto payout. i.e. not investigated, not upheld but goodwill gesture as its cheaper to pay out than to argue the point.
