Would just like to publicly say Thanks to Oddie's (I've already PM'd her). I won this comp
Strangely, it's £500 to spend at lasula.co.uk not at New Look! But I'm not complaining!!!Good luck to all x :hello:0 -
Biker*Chick wrote: »Yep - I can share this pain. On 1st Nov I couldn't use my Tesco M'card as it was flagged at petrol forecourt (had two LOs in car so just paid by another card and left). On calling Tesco later, was told 2 x £10 O2 topups made and then £480 spent on some cosmetics site!!!  Obviously they were stocking up on Christmas things to sell or something. My OH and I were gobsmacked as we are both VERY careful with the cards, so no idea how this happened. Thankfully looks like the large sum was overturned as not on our online statement now, but the top-ups still are so will have to chase that up with Tescos (£20 lost may not be much to some, but is to us!) Still, I suppose it could have been a lot worse
I also know how you all feel. It happened to me twice  in 12 months on my Tesco mastercard. The first time I was in a tizz about it. The second time I just accepted it :rotfl: The first time Tesco refunded everything that was spent on it (including O2 top-up) straightaway. The second time when they informed me I just let them get on with it (issuing the refund). But, when I got my statement they hadn't refunded everything, but a quick phone call soon sorted it.It's very annoying not having a credit card as I use mine regularly

Thanks Oddies for your previous postand to you others who have read and supported these posts with your likes - so lovely to have the support of genuinely lovely people here on the forum - it really helps with the frustration and anger at going through this sort of thing knowing others totally understand :T :A
Same here zaphgb - I checked online yesterday and all dodgy transactions had been refunded :j without us having to chase further. I did wonder if it was a problem at source (ie Tesco's systems being compromised in some way) I suppose it's good that they 'track' our behaviour  so they pick up on these fraudulent transactions, but still not the nicest thing to happen leading up to Christmas! I say ''Bah Humbug'' to those nasty, unscrupulous people out there=^._.^= You will always be lucky if you know how to make friends with strange cats =^._.^=0 -
