Yep - I can share this pain. On 1st Nov I couldn't use my Tesco M'card as it was flagged at petrol forecourt (had two LOs in car so just paid by another card and left). On calling Tesco later, was told 2 x £10 O2 topups made and then £480 spent on some cosmetics site!!!  Obviously they were stocking up on Christmas things to sell or something. My OH and I were gobsmacked as we are both VERY careful with the cards, so no idea how this happened. Thankfully looks like the large sum was overturned as not on our online statement now, but the top-ups still are so will have to chase that up with Tescos (£20 lost may not be much to some, but is to us!) Still, I suppose it could have been a lot worse

    HI BIKER CHICK,
so sorry to hear this happened to you as well, i went into the bank next day and asked how they do it, she just told me they are always one step a head of them and they knew my shopping habits so when it was used for hard rock cafe and phone top up it flagged up, i only pay cash for phone top ups. she said if they buy top up's they can be chased and found ( i doubt that myself :( ) i asked if i could be informed when they got them but she just said no and repeated i would not be charged.. that's fine but it does not make you feel any better does it. i also asked if there was more i could do to stop this and she just said NO !!!! i do hope you get your £20 back it's really hard for family's today as it was back in the 80's so i know your pain :(

  • Hi
My subscription to Ideal Home Magazine has ended now and I won't be renewing the subscription.

Usually the comp's can be entered online and these are covered on the main board so it's rare there's anything to post.

If theres anyone else that gets this magazine regularly it would be great if you could take over posting any comps that aren't online entry. The next magazine will be out at the end of November.

I'll message Miss Cinnabon requesting an update to the first page.
