In Spain it's called 'raciones' - serving up one portion as sort of large tapas, so get posh next time and let's have none of this 'freezer dive' :rotfl:.
Nice user name by the way . Maybe we're related . Maybe we're related . .

The movie is still unwatched on the mantelpiece but I have managed to get cheaper dog insurance today - down from £50 pcm to £35pcm with 12 months for the price of 9 and £47 cashback. Small step in the right direction.
I am still hassling DH to take out a 0% Tesco card so we can get back into stoozing but to be honest we have been so busy with all the end of term activities for DD that both of us fell asleep in front of the telly last night.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Pensions, Annuities & Retirement Planning, Loans

Evening MallyGirl, there are loads of us on here with different drivers for being MF. I focus on increasing my disposable income by reducing spends elsewhere and OPing whenever possible.
It does get addictive on the spreadsheet front. Don't get GallyGirl and Elantan talking about digits after the decimal point :rotfl:
 Good luck with your plans

            Today's update:
movie is still unwatched on the mantlepiece. I think I am going to look and see how much it is to buy on Amazon.
OH didn't get around to applying for the 0% BT Tesco card and now the offer has gone
On the upside, the weather was fab at the weekend so we mooched around the garden, had 'picky lunch' both days, strawberries and raspberries in the garden were ready to eat, spent virtually nothing. Plus they have decided to apply an uplift to my annual bonus so that will appear in this month's salary along side an unusual amount of overtime. We also got a free listing offer from eBay so got all OH's old camera gear on there - if it all sells it could raise around £650 so that would be nice. It reminded me how much I hate eBay though as I spent my evening answering silly questions from potential buyers and rejecting outrageous BIN offers.
We did look at a nice new range cooker on Saturday as I hate my current one but that would come under the banner of the kitchen extension.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Pensions, Annuities & Retirement Planning, Loans

On the plus - I did a free Equifax report with cashback and it told me I had £25 credit on a credit card I thought had been closed since 2009 so I have tracked down the details and got them to refund and close the account properly.
Not so good - someone has hijacked my usual credit card and paid 2 lots of £3k to the tax man from my account. It was spotted by cc fraud people which is great but now I have no credit card to take on hols. Luckily DH does and I can't see us needing 2 cards in different places. Just hassle.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Pensions, Annuities & Retirement Planning, Loans

There something a bit bizarre about credit card fraudsters being civic minded enough to pay their tax bills!
At least it was spotted by the fraud department MallyGirlMortgage Free November 2018

Makes it a bit more traceable!
Welcome MallyGirl and goodluck on your MF journey.
You never know about your uni/college fees, your children might decide to take a gap year or do something else before comitting to it. I decided against uni in the end and it was the best thing I ever did - most of my friends have alot of debt from it without necessarily getting the amazing job, whilst I own my own house with a decent income and an employer who has paid for further education. Having parents who could help financially will make an amazing difference no matter what though.0

Oh dear. A few sandwiches short of a picnic :rotfl:. Glad resolved relatively easily.and if you are going to steal it would be better not to use the money for something in your own name - I would have thought:D
PS - am debating the merits of whether to calculate daily interest to 2 or 6 decimal places - what's your opinion ? A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort ?
