Does anyone who is cheapest to search on for multi centre holidays to USA. Thinking either going to San fran for 3 nights, then LA for 4 nights and then Vegas for 7 nights in May 2008. If we cant get that cheap enough thinking 7 nights in LA and 7 nights in Vegas. Any tips anyone on who to try please? Been looking on virgin but they dont release prices till July!

If you can't get the multi stops you want, look into buying an open jaw ticket (i.e. in to SF and out from LV) and then buy the internal flights seperately. Flights to Las Vegas in particular are often cheap in USA.
I don't know about which agencies to suggest (though I had a good deal of Ebookers once) but American Airlines are usually quite generous with free stop overs.
You might be best to start in a travel agents or flight centre to get some quotes, at least that way you will get an idea as to which airlines offer free stop overs on the routes you want.
If you don't mind the extra faffing around and changes you could look at the free air miles offer with BMI credit card. For European flights the miles are pretty rubbish, but you can get great deals on internal flights in USA with the Star Alliance partners, as they have much smaller taxes, and you can book one way flights for half the miles of a return. There's lots of posts on this forum about it if you search. When I had my loft converted back into a loft, the neighbours came around and scoffed, and called me retro.0 -
I always do multi centre trips to US but never book anything other than flights and car. Accommodation is easy to get and if you have the flexibility of a car you can stop in at a lot of places in between the centres you intend to go to.
You may have to wait to get flights for your specific dates as they may not have been published as yet.0 -
Agree with torbrex, I have done multi centres and only booked a flight, ie in to LA out of Vegas and then a car or internal flight in between.
I usually fly with Virgin.miles plus money fares are often good.
Car hire and internal flights booth booked in UK beforehand
Car with https://www.airlinenetwork.co.uk or https://www.carhire3000.com to name a couple.
Hotels sorted at a later date.
Why pay a travel agent commission when you can DIY for less?0
