    Well it's nowhere near as good as anyone else, but I got a 45p voucher back from mr T today.

    Also sorting out birthday presents and used Boots points for a few and then choose a necklace in dotty P's that was down from £10 to £5, but when I got to the till it came up as £3! £7 saving there and then £8 in Boots. Not adding the £15 because I haven't 'made' it, but counting in the 45p :D

    Wow JPJ is doing well for everyone! I'm down to £4, boo. But I used it as entertainment so I don't feel too bad.

    I've put a handful of things on eBay. I'm really at the dregs now, and things that I really cannot be bothered to list. I've withdrawn some money for a boot sale tomorrow so I'm hoping to find some good things. I passed one today and got some Molton Brown stuff, brand new for £1!!! It has been put away for my Christmas stash though.

    I'm going to take a handful of things downstairs with me and get comfy and get listing!

    Not been on much this month I'm afraid but a few bits to add;

    £5 halifax reward voucher, £2 voucher used in Mr S and another £3 LVs so kicking off with £10.

    Also got some stuff ending on ebay today and most of it has bids (mostly 99p but some a bit more) so can add when posted in the week.

    btw, has anyone tried this selling site yet? http://www.onlinecarbooty.com/ as I was debating whether to give it a go, and wondered if anyone had any advice tips if they'd used it already?

    This is what I was worried about. I don't want people who can't afford to gamble, gambling just because they are reading about people winning.

    I sound like a real wet blanket BUT you need to remember, Bookies are millionaires for one reason.... they only pay out a fraction of the bets they receive money on. They earn more money from the bets placed then they actually pay out.

    It is the same with bingo sites. It can be addictive, and when you start winning, you want to keep winning. Or you need the money to pay for that new washer, so you think I will only play £10. You don't win, so you try another £10. Then more until you have lost all your money.

    PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do not join bingo sites or gamble unless you can stop yourself putting in more than £10 or what you can afford to lose.

    I have just had my Tesco shopping delivered and as they have not given me the dine for 2 for £10 discount due to them substituting some of the items they have refunded me £8. I didn't keep the main they sent so paid £13 for rest of stuff - £8 discount so paid £5 for a £8 bottle of wine, wedges and profiteroles! bargain!
    Will add the £8 refund into my total!

    Just back from a car boot (3rd in a month I must be mad) where we made £68.49 after the £8 entrance fee. It starts at 6 for sellers, and is supposed to end at 2 but by midday I've had enough. Really pleased with what we made today, it's very close to where I live and £10 an hour for standing in a field getting people to pay for our old stuff will do. I think I may or may not do one more sale, something tells me I may be a little addicted.

    Am going to add £1 for a pennies I've been saving and have just bagged up. I have some items ending on eBay later, I put some M&S shorts on which needed ironing at 60p and said 'sold as seen', now they have gone to £3.50 I think I may iron them! Don't know if I'm going to have the energy to put anything on tonight for 7 days, we'll see.

    You don't sound like a wet blanket Aesop, my close family has seen all too brutally the havoc and heartbreak too much gambling can bring. Xx
