EDF Blue Price Promise September 2013 - Blue Price Promise February 2015
Options
I'm currently on EDF's 2013 deal, which runs out in September, when it would make sense to mobe to the February 2015 deal. The only issue is this, will this be available when current fix ends in September? Is it worth switching now and losing 3 months of savings?

I doubt the exact tariff will be available come September - EDF offer new versions of Blue+ every few months.
Unless you have a good reason for wishing to pay more for your energy for the next 3 months, I'd be inclined to wait.
EDF will contact you nearer the time and probably offer you whatever best deal they have (which will probably be the current Blue+ at the time).
Always compare the whole of market before agreeing anything

I'm on the same tariff and I've pondered what to do.
One thing I note about switching. Discounted tariffs start to come out around Summer time, following the Winter price hikes and the fixed price Spring season.
I think you should keep an eye on new tariffs coming out and compare right up to the end of the tariff.0 -
Look at what your personal increase in costs will be by Switching to Blue 2015
3 months early - It is after all 3 Summer months, so the differential shouldn't be huge0 -
You have to way up the risk of a higher tariff come September over the extra cost you would pay during the next 3 months on the Blue 2015 tariff.
Fortunately your usage will be low during this period so its not likely to cost you much more if you decide to jump early.0
